I met my wife Kim in 1991. We married in 1992 and haven’t looked back.

I’m the father of three grown kids: two boys and a girl. A successful Python developer, a US Marine, and an amazing graphic designer.
Grandfather
In 2025, my son and his wife welcomed my first granddaughter. Grandchildren are amazing!
iOS and Mac Developer
I began coding back in the 1980s on a TI-99/4A using BASIC, then moved into Windows programming with Visual Basic and Visual C++.
I released an open source VB program for the SETI@home project called SETICapture, which captured screenshots of strong signals.
I started coding for the iPhone when it was relatively new, back when the only choice was Objective-C. Since then I’ve worked in both Objective-C and Swift.
Musician
I’ve played guitar since elementary school. With the discovery of AI music, I’ve been able to expand my musical talents by releasing music. Most of my music is centered around my Christian faith, though my ’80s metal self still has a presence in it.

In addition to writing music, I’ve written a few novels, all unreleased for now. Maybe one day that will change to released.
